...Here is another side to the project.
This is my first ceramic project for my class this semester. We were to make a cup and saucer, abstracted and it did not have to be functional. So please do not get your undies in a wad if I miscat. it. I didn't put it in tableware because it is not functional. My piece is as if the cup fell from a ship and became a part of the world it decended into. We will be firing them but not glazing. We will only be able to color with a indigo-ish stain and I will put up another picture once all that is done. I hope you like. And, yes I know the picture isn't very good at showing off the piece, sorry.

What a cool idea!! You are so creative! I like the different types of coral you used. Too bad you can't put a couple fishies in, too. Maybe propped up on wires... <///<

Thanks. I had thought of fish but was afraid it would take me too far away from the project guidelines so I didn't put them in, maybe another time when I have my own studio I can make one with fish too!! :-)

lol! Glad I could help bring you over to the land of mud. I think you would do fine in the class and enjoy it.
