Okay so I'm a horrible poster, and I haven't added any of my summer work or this semester work yet. Truth is I haven't gotten pictures taken of anything yet. It's be a little crazy around here, we moved, still haven't really unpacked, school started, work and blah blah blah. Now, midterms are here, so as soon as I manage to get some pics of my stuff I'll add it. I've got some woodfire and soda pieces from this summer's class at Arrowmont, and I've got some new mugs from this semester's class. Figured I'd better post something or peeps would think I had died or something.

I'm currently at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN. I've only got one more week here. It's been great and I can't wait until we open the kilns on Friday!!!!

So I entered the "Lost at Sea" abstract cup and saucer in a Women-In-Arts jury show this week and I got an honorable mention. Which is way cool to me since this is the first piece I made in my ceramics class. It'll be on display at the Capitol Arts Gallery until the end of April!! My first accomplishment with my ceramics. I'm glazing a huge abstract teapot right now, can't wait to get it finished and show it. I have to find a show to put it in cause it is just too cool not to.

So I have finally started my first ceramics class at uni and I'm loving it. I will try to be good about putting up pics of my projects as in progress. Hope you are all well and creative.

So I'm starting my mid-term week and I'll get around to posting some of my projects from this semester. I put up my tape shoes and I'll work on getting some of the other stuff up. I am majoring in Ceramics but I have to take lots of drawing which is my worst subject. So I'll apologize to anyone whose eyes bleed after suffering through any of my 2-D projects that I post here. Constructive criticism is and pointers are always appreciated.
